The African Jacana! Our first critter, so I hope it’s not too confusing! Alongside the common and scientific names, I’ve also included (in order from top to bottom): the IUCN conservation status, taxonomic class, and general habitat! And did you know that, when mating, their large feet actually allow them to rest perfectly on top of one another?
