Mini Lesson! Aphids!

Aphids! A fun Mini-Lesson about some fun Mini-Friends! And a little more elaboration on the ants farming aphids like cattle, some species of ants are actually known to take the aphids into their colonies in the cold winter months to keep them safe. Queen ants will even take a few aphid eggs with her when flying off to start a new colony. And, of course, some species of aphids, when taken into an ant colony, are known to go into a predatory frenzy and feast themselves while the ants do nothing about it! Aphids, man.
