“Many things changed when they arrived. For some, there was little to no impact on their daily lives. A persistent pest makes its way into the chicken coop one too many times, a hairy protector becomes guardian to a child’s special spring. A museum welcomes an unlikely and immortal guests neighborhood welcomes a new trash collector, a little girl is abducted by spiders. A man gets his pizza stolen. However, there were also much greater consequences. These creatures are not harmless. We are not harmless. We are not docile. We are capable of great things, of terrible things. I am capable of terrible things. Disasters, neigh, the end-times, may be brought about by my manifestation in this wretched and rotting world, mine cloaked wings bringing forth a miasma of misery and death, hooves trampling over bodies, horn covered in the bl— oh shit the farmers coming back.
