Mutation March Day 6! -Snake-

Really happy with how the story for this one came out, love well-meaning and wholesome doofuses dealing with forces beyond their comprehension (but don't worry Belle loves her caretakers very much)! Also, for those unaware (and since it's kinda hard to find), a Ming She is a Chinese serpent also known as a Sounding Snake, which has four wings and makes a sound like a bell!

“Ming She”

“Meet Belle! The newest friend at Wilson’s Critter Rescue, Belle really is a snake like no other! Really! We don’t even know what kind of species she is! After getting several calls about some kind of ‘monster snake’ (a bit mean if you ask me), we found Belle gorging herself on the ducks in the local pond! What a scamp! But don’t let her intimidate you. Belle is still just a long and slithering bundle of joy! She’s incredibly social, and just loves to cuddle, especially if you’re wearing warm clothing. Watch out, though! If you hear the sound of bells or chimes, that’s actually Belle’s rattle going off, and that means “hands off, please!” It’s nothing against you, but sometimes a snake just needs her alone time. If you want to cheer her up, though, she loves eggs as treats, and will lighten up as soon as she can see one! Ostrich eggs are her favorites, but don’t worry if you can’t afford that; any ol’ eggs will do! As for special accommodations, Belle is still a snake through-and-through, and so you’ll need to get her a heat lamp and sufficient hiding places for her tank. And unfortunately, yes, she only eats live food (trust us, we don’t like it either)! But unlike other snakes, Belle is a real social butterfly who needs to be around other serpents to be happy. She especially loves letting the hatchlings here crawl all over her, but she certainly doesn’t mind more grown-up company either. So if you already have a snake or two and are looking for a real special addition to your household, give us a call! We can’t wait to find her a new forever home!”
