Some art I made fro my first ever DnD Campaign with friends! It never did go anywhere, but the premise was a sort of romp through the Planes of DnD lore (heavily modified to be goofier and low-level-player-friendlier), and would eventually evolve into The Slime-n-Dine Campaign I finished writing pretty recently (though I still need to find an actual group to run it for haha).
Here, we enter the humble town of Claymore, a ramshackle little settlement that makes everything they need out of ceramics and pottery. Smackdab in the middle of nowhere, their fragile walls don't often face any threats, but when they do, the town guards are there to stop them! The dream-team duo Salten-Pepper are a plucky young team of rather inexperienced security guards. But what they lack in any form of weaponry or defenses they make up for in spirit!
Strange happenings are cropping up more and more around their little town, though, and here's a band of rowdy goblins with some stranger fellas in the mix. In this setting (SPOILERS FOR THE SLIME-N-DINE, because this also applies to that setting, if you know me and ever want me to run it), Goblins are like paradimensional little germs, a virus that has managed to create a strain for every Plane there is. Here, it seems an Astral goblin and a Shadowfell goblin have somehow merged into the Material Plane. But how...?
